Associates
Linda Battye
Linda is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia. Linda worked for Grant Thornton in their specialist motor dealer division for five years, which included a six month secondment to their office in Leeds, UK. Linda joined Benjamin King Money as a manager in 2003. Linda’s expertise and focus is the provision of tax and business services to the SME sector.
Linda was appointed an Associate of the practice in July 2009.
Steve Harris
Steve is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University Melbourne with double majors in Accountancy and Commercial Law. Steve was employed by Benjamin King Money in 2001 and has been working as a Manager since 2007. Steve was appointed an Associate of the practice in July 2009.
Steve has worked in a full time capacity as a store manager for a major retail franchise, achieving extensive qualifications related to the Strategic Management of people, plant and inventory in a small business environment.
Steve’s experience and clients are greatly varied but his focus has mainly been on the provision of Business Services and Consultancy to the SME sector.
Brent McCartney
Brent is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and Taxation Institute of Australia. Brent joined Benjamin King Money in late 2004 after working for 5 years at a neighbouring chartered accounting firm. Brent was appointed an Associate of the practice in July 2009.
Brent’s expertise includes taxation and business services and superannuation.
Jeremy Swan
Jeremy is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and also The Tax Institute of Australia. Jeremy completed his studies at the University of Tasmania before moving to Melbourne to pursue his professional career and has been with Benjamin King Money since he was a graduate in 2004.
Jeremy was appointed as an Associate of the practice in July 2009 and also currently the Audit Manager.
Jeremy’s expertise includes audit and due diligence engagements, income tax and business services consultation.
Consultants
Eric Krause
Eric is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia as well as a Certified Practising Accountant. He was a partner in the practice of Benjamin King Money from 1994 through to 2007. He now works with Benjamin King Money in a consulting capacity.
Eric has extensive experience in audit management, accounting, asset management workouts with financial institutions, corporate negotiations on takeovers and mergers and strategic planning. Eric has been in practice for over 30 years.
